Aggregates are either ‘coarse’ or ‘fine’ and both are further categorised further into classifications based on size. Wigan Aggregates distribute many types of aggregates, which include: crushed rock, sand, stone and gravel, we also recycle aggregates from our depot in Wigan.
Our fine aggregates usually consist of sand or a crushed stone, the diameter range is from 4mm.
The coarse aggregates are granular in size and can be greater than 4mm with a range of between 6mm – 40mm in diameter.
